I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I graduated as a Psychotherapist more than three decades ago. I have lived in the United States for twenty years, and I got my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in Atlanta, Georgia. I am fully bilingual and offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
As a therapist, I work from a psychodynamic and attachment-based perspective. I believe that it is important to understand the impact of your past, but only if that helps to heal and bring change in the present.
I am Certified in EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Couples Therapy, and Prepare/Enrich Premarital Counseling. I am also a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP). I have extensive training and experience in trauma, personality disorders, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, LGBTQIA+ issues, self-esteem, migration and transitions, multicultural issues, and group therapy.
I strive to be sensitive to and affirming of diverse experiences of race and ethnicity, gender, sexuality, ability, religion, nationality, and social class. In addition to my work as a therapist, I have broad experience in the corporate world. I worked for many years in different leadership roles in Human Resources and Market Research, leading local and global teams in Fortune 100 companies.
