I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I graduated as a Psychotherapist more than three decades ago. I have lived in the United States for twenty years, and I got my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in Atlanta, Georgia. I am fully bilingual and offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
As a therapist, I work from a psychodynamic and attachment-based perspective. I believe that it is important to understand the impact of your past, but only if that helps to heal and to bring change in the present.
I am certified in Prepare/Enrich Premarital Counseling and pursuing my certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I also have specialized training and broad experience in Gottman Couples Therapy (Level 3), personality disorders, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, LGBTQIA+ issues, self-esteem, migration and transitions, multicultural issues, and group therapy.
I strive to be sensitive to and affirming of diverse experiences of race and ethnicity, gender, sexuality, ability, religion, nationality, and social class. In addition to my work as a therapist, I have wide experience in the corporate world, where I worked for many years in different leadership roles in the areas of Human Resources and Market Research, leading local and global teams in Fortune 100 companies.
